We are the World 2013

This morning I woke up in my new little cottage on a lake.  I could see the sun rising through the trees, still covered in snow as the pink of the sky glistened between each branch.  I sat in front of the small fire place for a moment and drew this card as my message:  We are the world.

I was touched, humbled and inspired.  This was what I needed, to be reminded that I moved to New England from Jamaica to connect, to share in 'oneness' to let love in.  I've been crying, emotional and deeply overwhelmed by this past week in the US.  At the same time the waves of emotions have been breaking at me and washing over me.  Coming from an island that brought me so much love and light, warmth making it easier to stop and share and smile in joys.  Here in the harsh winter I am beginning to find the warmth, I am beginning to feel the loving energy and light.  Sometimes it is after a Yoga class, I am given a hug that tells me I am where I am meant to be.  Any teacher out there in any realm can admit that what moves us the most is when our students share their experience.  What inspires us is when they become our teachers.  This year I am opening up to the lessons of the Universe, I am allowing the Oneness within me to connect and share in this world with you.
